Wojciech Fortuna
Born: August 6, 1952 in Zakopane
Fortuna was a Polish ski jumper who won the Olympic Gold Medal in the Large Hill at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo. In the Normal Hill he finished 6th. The Gold Medal was Poland's first in the Winter Olympics history.
He was member the Polish national team in the years 1969-1979. He ended his sports career in 1979. His personal record is 132 m; he established it in 1972.
