Bieszczady National Park
In some Polish regions, bounded on state borders, are nature parks that form a whole with a nature park in the neighbouring state. In these situations there is some kind of co-operation between both countries.

Bieszczady - Mount Tarnica seen from Wołosate

Since 1992 this park is a part of the International Biosphere Reserve called Eastern Carpathians.
It is formed out of three units:
- Polish (the Bieszczady NP, and two surrounding landscape parks: Cisniansko-Wetlinski and the Upper San Valley),
- Slovakian (Poloniny National Park)
- Ukrainian (Nature Reserve Stuzica)
