The Peace Race was a cycling event held in May. It traditionally took place in the German Dem. Rep., Poland and the Czechoslowakia.

The first Peace Race was held in 1948, when there were two editions connecting cities of Warsaw and Prague. Because cyclists from the Eastern Bloc officially not were allowed to be professionals it was an amateur race. After the Cold War the race also lead through other coutries, but the race rapidly lost importance. The 2005 the race was cancelled. The 58th and last Peace race was held in 2006. Than the main sponsor Škoda stopped his support and no other sponsors were found.
