Warsaw
Warsaw (Polish: Warszawa), is the capital of Poland and also the capital of the Masovian Voivodeshipits. It is Poland's largest city. Warsaw is internationally notable for giving its name to the Warsaw Pact, Warsaw Convention and the Treaty of Warsaw. Warsaw counts nearly 2 million inhabitants.
Mniszchów Palace
The classicist Miniszchów Palace can be seen on a Belgian stamp (1998). Located at Senatorska street. Erected in 1714 for Great Crown Marshall Józef W.
Warsaw coat of arms
Mniszch. In 1939 it became a hospital, until it was destroyed by the Germans in 1944. It was reconstructed in 1960 with the financial assistance from Belgium. Today the Belgian Embassy is located in the Mniszchów Palace.
